Dave Alford passed away March 11, 2005 at the age of 49. He was a great guy and a great musician.

He and his friends were instrumental in getting me interested in playing guitar. He was in a band with my friend Steve Wilson's brother Dave, and we used to hang out when they practiced. He was later in a band called "Helberlyn". A few years later, I got to be in a band with him for a few months (Helberlyn Mark II).

His obituary and links to his music follow. Rest in Peace, brother !!
